Both, whatever pays well and I can find. About $95 was from one batch and maybe $60 from another. The rest was just random surveys and small batches.

 

Wow! That's incredible! Is that from surveys and studies primarily? I'm closing in on 1000 hits (if pending hits were approved I would be there), and it seems as if this benchmark opens up a new level to the mTurk game, based on what I've read. Is my turking world going to change once I get there you think?

Low hourly is from people reviewing the screener. It says the full study is 25 mins for $2.50

 

OK then, I had 1000 before two weeks ago so not sure, but it probably really helps. I hit 5000 early last week. Most of the regular stuff that seemed to come with the milestone wasn't too exciting, but you see a lot of random stuff with a 1000 or 5000 threshold so yes it will help.

More important get good with the hitforker/hitfinder and Panda crazy/hitcatcher scripts.

Also if the pays OK muscle through the writing. I used to return a lot of stuff with writing. And search through the stuff your not qualified for once or twice a day and see if there are any quals you can get. That's how I stumbled on that $95 batch.

anybody who did the David Plans HIT was getting an error of email set up and not getting the file to send?

I only started doing mturk seriously back in March/April and I had some amazing Sundays around then, but it has slowed down over the summer.
