I'm sure this has been asked at least once, but because I am an infrequent visitor, I don't know where to see it.


the last 3 times I was on mturk, when I tried to submit a task, it kept failing, but I'd go to the queue and see that I could still "work" the task, and when you 'work' it again, it has the submission code ready to submit.


I cannot submit tasks on my laptop anymore? I must ALWAYS do it through my phone?

Could it be something in your browser causing this?

I would:
Disable add-ons / extensions, and clear the browser's cache entirely. Restart the computer. Then try another hit submission. If it still doesn't work, then I'd clear all cookies (which of course also logs-out any active logins), log back in and try another hit.

 

... You can also try using a different browser, instead of your usual one.

I used to do those occasionally.

Closed qual now though.

And the pay is still what it is.
If I remember from someone's comment, the pay reduction happened many years ago.
I wasn't here during the good-old-days before the cut.

 

Who uses mturk without masters? Why would a new user on mturk who provides "high-quality" data spend time on the platform? Why would you target research at a "far fewer" pool of "experienced" participants?
