Okay! It's now officially after 12 in the Central time zone, and I'm going to crash.
In the meantime, this one's going out to @Vincent P and anyone else who might
enjoy it. It's a 50-50 whether I'll do that survey "D: I'll wake up at 3 AM and not be
able to go back to sleep" thing. So maybe I'll catch you all a little later!

 

Is that from that documentary that came out? I watched that, was so good. Almost cried at the end. I draw a lot of inspiration from his story.

 

No idea. I do know that I checked out a 'Tube' video of this song which was described as 'the best version of this tune ever done!', and all
the comments seemed to agree with this. (Insert 'raspberry sound' here) It didn't even come close to this particular performance. (IMHO!)
I think even people who aren't really fans would have to agree that he's certainly a guitar-playing son of a so-and-so!

 

Yeah, he used to have this big house in the middle of nowhere and he would basically just do drugs and play guitar ALL DAY LONG like nonstop, they get into it pretty deep in the doc. That's how you master something ya know, the 10,000 hours rule and all that.

Really hard to do sometimes even if you love it, it can be a fine line between being a really good musician and doing it because you love to.

 

Alex, do you have a cat, or do you just find them amusing indirectly?
I don't personally care one way or the other.
I inherited cat allergies from my Dad, and tend to avoid them,
although I kind of like them on general principle.
Mom got rid of her many cats when she married Dad.
She wound up regretting this decision eventually, but that's life!
