I've been very worried about the wonderful @Tracy Wethington , lately. This situation has lead to an 'approach/avoidance' situation on my part.
Sometimes it's difficult to know if people want to be 'left alone' for a while, or if they'd appreciate being reminded that people miss them.
I'd really enjoy it if Tracy chimed in and said "OK, ......"!

 

For anyone thinking of starting that show ;–) ...
... it starts rough, so fans suggest to keep watching through episode 4 at least (and if you're still on board after that, continue through episode 8), see if the show gains your interest. The story will shift in a big way in season 2, and again in season 3 (it's all serialized based on the story arc from the books). ... There are some early issues with characterization and character development (I've heard that the books are better about that); the TV adaptation is definitely imperfect. The show aims for some pseudo-realistic plausibility in ways that some other sci-fi shows don't bother with – for example, there's no 'artificial gravity' except as produced by thrust or by spin; and, when a ship needs to decelerate, it must flip around to put its engines in the direction of travel (which confuses some viewers asking why ships fly "backwards"), etc., but the show also takes liberties with science for story reasons. Sometimes the show just accidentally gets some science wrong (occasionally so very badly that a showrunner had to apologize), but it generally recovers from such mistakes. .... It's not a show for everyone, by any means, but if you've liked any "space opera" sci-fi before and if you're patient with The Expanse it just might grow on you (or not), YMMV. ... After the big shifts in season 2 and season 3 (the last season to air on Syfy before Amazon picked up the show), Season 4 is a sort of transitional detour (as a limited adaptation of the 4th novel). The upcoming 5th season (based on the 5th novel) could be epic. ... The novels (and novellas) are available on paper, as ebooks, and audiobooks. ... Pardon my fan-shilling ...
