    It will take time for the cat to adjust. It's scary to move!

    Also, it's normal for some cats to never "fully" adjust to each other. Like right now in my house: I got a new cat a year ago. My "old" cat is still a complete ash hole to the new cat. New cat just ignores it as much as she can, fights back when she has to, and still makes herself comfy on our beds to sleep when she feels like it. I have to sometimes break up cat fights outside (they both get to go outside) but accept this is as "adjusted" as these two strong willed cats will get.

    So, my tldr answer is: time.
