    Idk how universal it is but an anti-chew/scratch spray on the stuff they're destroying along w/ something positive to replace it with nearby dosed in catnip spray worked instantly for me.

    IME w/o the replacement the anti-chew sprays are less than useless (at least for the cats) so tbh they might be placebo anyway lol.

    Also empty soda can w/ coins in it is what my mom used to use back in the day.. worked wonders I'd chew on the wall and she'd scare the shit out of me so I stopped after like 2-3 chews of drywall.

    you dont...you let them destroy your belongings.
    my one cat as a kitten chewed thru all of the surround sound cords. Aside from putting them away (charging cords) you just have to watch the sneaky a holes. make a big scene to "scare" them. I tell mine "we dont do x" Because then its like I dont do it either, maybe you shouldnt....do they know that, no...do they care...no...but we do not smear poop on the floor...we clean our butts....we do not eat grass and puke it up on the carpet....
