    Bruh...have you ever fallen asleep with a nicotine patch on? I've never done acid or shrooms, but falling asleep with a patch on is a vanilla way to come close to that.

    Spiders? Check.
    Car breaks down and turns into a Decepticon? Check
    Night terrors and sleep paralysis and a portal to Hell opens next to your bed and the Baba Yaga teams up with Lillith and a strega to stand over your bed? Check and fucking mate, and you're trapped knowing you're awake and can't move a muscle, not even to scream to break out of the dream.

    My experience with the patch and sleep was largely pleasant. Heck I looked at it as a nice side benefit to quitting. It was like going to the movies in my sleep every night.

    It was very situationally dependent.

    Previously, it sucked ass because it was after my daughter was born and I was actively trying to quit. Everything I could imagine going wrong, did.
    Post-surgery while in the hospital wasn't as bad, but it was OBE night terrors. Not surprising because a lot of people have died in hospitals.
    Post-post surgery while going in for a follow-up and needing to get a clear chest X-ray and having twinges in my healing leg with a drain tube...fuck Hagfish and Leeches.

    I getcha. Your initial comparison was pretty spot-on, it was similar to some other stuff i've tried in the past. Very dependent on frame of mind. I guess mine is just usually low-key so the side effects were mostly positive. The dreams were insanely lucid.
