Was that from a CloudResearch requester?

 

Amazon is basically letting MTurk go to seed for some time now. So some of the more respected requesters are going to other sites. Years ago Mturk was really nice to be on, nowadays it's becoming a wasteland populated by bots and scammers. I don't see Amazon changing their ways and starting to invest any of their resources to make it a better site, even with scamming and cheap-bum requesters they make some profit.

 

It was matthew pittman, doubt he's a CR req. I have the CR2 qual so I don't get those HITs

 

That's kinda funny. I also have CR2 and thankfully it protects me from low quality CloudResearch requesters.

 

i thought that having the CR2 qual effectively bans you from mturk because most of the hits posted on mturk are cloudresearch hits. It was just what someone on another platform was saying.

 

It bans you from like 95% of the HITs available, so you end up making pitiful P.E.'s

 

It might look that way since it's slow now. The biggest mistake MTurk made was letting them stay on the platform. Many requesters I've corresponded with don't even consider them to be real research any more since they use such a hand picked pool of participants.

 

Only if your depend on surveys.

 

sadly I wouldn't even know how to go about making even close to what I make now without surveys. I'm horrible at batches besides the ben peterson's but they soft ban you after a certain amount of hits and review your answers.
