so why does it matter if the hourly is the same?

 

I think we're talking about a different HIT.

 

It's only really a pain when the bonus isn't guaranteed and you're paid $6/hr while RNG nets some other guy $40/hr.

Because when you use a "bonus" to make up for your HITs shitty pay, then it isn't a bonus.. it's just what the HIT should have payed out in the first place. Semantics I suppose.

You could always just fly through it and get the minimum 5¢ bonus instead. Probably ~$7.75/hr.

It's just shady and dumb. If everyone on AMT got paid as much as an Amazon warehouse worker then I wouldn't complain as much about requesters being skeezy.

 

Please specify how many HITs are you able to complete per week:

3800*7 = 26600

 

This could be false, but I had a requester tell me once they pay more by bonus because Amazon doesn't get a fee on that, and it's a way to pay workers more.

Can anyone who might have a requester account confirm this?

If it's true, I'm super ok with requesters doing that.
