10/04 - Willpower Wednesday

Yeah, I don't see myself going back for a minute. I'd been planning on visiting my bestie in NYC in December but my roommate had a serious health problem and his family is in the process of selling the house... So yeah, my reality sucks ATM but I'll figure it out. I hope, I have no other option. But my next trip is back to NYC because I can stay with my bestie in Chelsea for free. (& not only do they always remember me, even without Sean, I rarely have to pay at the bars that we go to).

 

But yeah. I will be back to Denver, just not till after I figure out my regular bills and the student loan payments (GDI!!!)

 

are you serious I paid mine off in 2020, then requested a $10,000 refund of it that I paid during coronavirus just this march. got it in april and had to spend it. then I find out like 2 months after I spent it that we have to pay it back. I don't want to. they told us we didn't have to.

 

I get to manage kitchens though! to me, that's way more fun than sitting at a desk and would not have put me so far in debt....

 

yeah you got a lot. also you can get same old pre-biden forgiveness at 20 or 25 years of having the loans depending on stuff like type of sl and military service and stuff. so if you get into the REPAYE/SAVE plan, you might be able to have $0.00 payments and then the same old student loan forgiveness as was there before biden.

but like I'm for some reason in standard repayment and have been waiting probably about a month to get accepted into repaye/save after I applied for it. I'm still not in it and repayment starts for me in november. I mean if I pay it, which I can't reason to at this point.

 

also I don't understand why we are supposed to say biden created the SAVE repayment plan. I'm pretty sure it's the exact same thing as REPAYE repayment plan, which has been around for at least ten years? I think he just changed the name. anyways. sorry, this isn't the student loans forum.

 

you know damn well that that will almost probably approve you before midterm elections because they want people like me {dems that will choose the green party over biden).

 

no worries, it's also apparently not the hit forum since there ain't shit out there and iif you can't tell, I started drinking an hour ago. at least we are possibly amusing!

I was right!!! I'm almost positive I was on the REPAYE plan for years before biden, and for years before coronavirus! that's so weird, because on all my news feed things online, there are always all these references to the SAVE repayment plan and that's it's new from Biden and great relief for student loan borrowers. I mean I'm sorry to keep talking about it, but I didn't realize I was right for sure until just now.

 

well now I'm too tired to turk. @malysa I wish I could have one of your beers but I will probably go to sleep.
