I got a rejection for the following reason: Answers to the demographics section of this survey are inconsistent with the answers provided in the demographic screener. Survey response indicates person is not eligible

When I took the paid screener my oldest was under 3 years old. When I took the survey a month later he was 3. I was not screened out on the main survey and it didn't state anywhere that this would make me not eligible for the survey.

 

I would email the requestor and explain. They should understand.

 

That's so dumb. It makes you wonder, if the researchers aren't even thinking about those kind of issues, how much attention are they paying to the other details of their research.

I've often worried about that, like people say that you lose the CR qualification if you give inconsistent data, but what if your data changes over time. It's easy to age up into the next group. A couple months ago I was taking classes online so I answered "student" and now I'm not so I put "unemployed", my income is very different for the ones that ask for 2020 income vs. the ones that ask for last 12 months income, etc. so it's going to look like I'm giving inconsistent answers even though I'm being 100% honest.
