Damn, .5 bitcoin is more than 2500 dollars.

 

I only use italics when I feel the need to highlight a word or phrase.

If you overuse italics, do they not lose their effect? They do.

 

Would be worth it, just for the memes tbh~

 

How come italics can't be tilted the other way? Why aren't reverse italics a thing?

 

Because that's too much work.

 

But if everyone uses italics all the time, we can feel like we're reading each other's minds.

Italics were actually invented not for emphasis, but to imitate handwriting in Roman Times. Italic print was basically laid back, chill reading material while non italics print was formal and serious. So, basically, the guy who created it just modeled it after his own handwriting and it didn't slope to the left, so italics doesn't tilt left.
