Question about QBC if you have the time: I turned it off, completely, today. But I still caught HITs I had PANDA'd from requester and project tabs. I was in STL at my dr. appt's and had turned off QBC completely this morning but still got PushBullet notifications. Opened Turkdroid and I'd caught them. Did I miss a setting somewhere, or was it just a fluke? I turned QBC off via the "Toggle Quebicle on/off" button on the main landing page.

 

Is there any of y'all who live in STL? My financial assistance got the greenlight, so my proton therapy is a go. I'm gonna be stuck in STL for 6-8 weeks with 22 hrs/day with nothing to do besides mTurk. I have a couple things I wanna do, but after that, the boredom is gonna kill me.

 

If the pandas existed before toggling them off they possibly still went through one of the subroutines for availability checks and ended up catching off one of them. If that kinda thing happens and you notice it flip to the scraper and see if the last record in there is from when you actually turned it off (+/- a few cycles)

But if you turned it off at 2PM and you check in at 6PM and there are scraper HITs with last seen as like 4PM your house is haunted and the ghost thinks you need to get back to work :emoji_joy:.

 

I can always tell when someone is lying just by looking at them. I can tell when they're standing too.
