10/17 - Tremendous Tuesday!

I was about to give you a "the more you know," type moment but I'm too tired to type out the explanation.

So can we pretend I just taught you something neat and educational about the discovery of edible fruits and I can save some typing?

 

That is exactly my point. This isn't golf so the more rejects the better.... right?

smh you won't ever get to 4k rejects at this rate.

 

I bought some canned lychee for a recipe at the little "international store" in the nearby small college town. The owner pulled me away from the checkout lane and brought me back and made me get rambutan as well, the whole while telling me how superior they were in every way. I ended up using both in the recipe, and they were yummy, and using both definitely improved flavor depth. Hmmm... that's been a while. I need to do that again.

 

I've never had a dragon fruit, though. What does it taste like?

Kind of a mix between kiwi and prickly pear cactus. But it's like a creamy icecream texture with tiny seeds in it. Hard to explain.

 

Wait you only have three total? I thought you just 3 new ones and were complaining.. -,-

 

Dragon Fruit is VERY expensive around here. They're like 10 bucks each at the grocery store, but god damn they're good.

Lychee tasted kinda weird to me. I couldn't really quite put my finger on it but I thought it tasted kind of like gin.

 

I've never had the fruit, but I'll drink the hell out of dragon fruit vodka. Mmmmmmm.

 

I go days with just about 4 hours sleep, like right now I have been up 20 hours and I'm going in at 3 am to work then come back to turk in the morning

 

My sleep schedule is totally fried. I'm sleeping all day some days, then doing nothing but light napping for days straight. Being 45 sucks. But I took a xanax tonight, so all should be better soon. (though I'd have preferred a dragon fruit vodka drink)

 

Crap, thought I had a perfect ahk setup for the Highspot's. Ended up submitting when I didn't use a command for it....shrug
