To @BloominMeg's point, what counts is what you see here https://worker.mturk.com/status_details/2022-10-31. If you see it there, then it was submitted to Mturk "successfully."

If you are using MTS, sometimes the extension will log submissions that errored as if there were submitted correctly. Those will throw off your totals as they are reported from HIT Tracker. Eventually the errored records will swap from pending to paid after 45 days if you go looking for them in HIT Tracker.
