Who has added a bank account to Payments lately?

I'm adding a new bank account to Payments for the first time in years. It's asking for my driver's license number, and points to the account holder information on a check. Well, I certainly don't have my driver's license number on my checks!

Do I only have to enter my driver's license number if it's on my checks? Or does everyone need to enter it?
