11/22 - Wayback Wednesday!

That sounds like such a bummer. Nothing would take the wind out of my sails quicker. I hope you get it figured out!

 

The thing that pisses me off the most is now we can't just go to the store and get our items tomorrow. We were planning a trip with my wife's cousin and were going to fight the crowd, something neither of us like to do. She called us and said that she heard the sales were going to go live tonight and we could order online. I created a BestBuy account and got everything ready to go. Was logged in with the items in the cart and other tabs open so I could get to them quickly. I deliberately didn't input and save my card information. I don't like businesses to keep that, process the card then delete the information.

With the money showing gone from the account it makes it a PITA to go shopping tomorrow. I made a special trip to the bank today to deposit 1k so we wouldn't have to carry cash around. Now I have to pull more cash out of the safe and carry it anyway if we're going to try to do this. In addition, I don't really know what the deal is so we may end up with 2 desktops and 4 fitbits. God help the manager of bestbuy if that happens and I have to drive another 70 miles round trip to return things because of this fuckup.

The surface pro works pretty well. It was a pain to get the pressure sensitivity working for dumb reasons but meh

Yikes, what a mess. I really hope you get it figured out before you go out of your way and get inconvenienced even more. Hopefully it was just some weird glitch and you get answers quickly. That'd be such a bummer to mess up your holiday and shopping because of it.
