12/07 - Flurry Friday!

Yaaaasssss! My mom/boss gave me the afternoon off without me even asking. I was going over weekend plans (she's taking my kiddo for football on Sunday) and I mentioned he and I have to find time to go shopping for more pants for him. He needs more pants because when we went shopping in September he got short tempered about trying on so many pants and said he didn't need more than 3 pair of long pants. Now that winter is here...he wants more than 3 pair of long pants.

So the good news is I get to stop working at 1:30 today. The bad news is I have to go long pants shopping with a teenager who detests long pants (prefers basketball shorts) and will be Grinchy about trying them on the ENTIRE time. Wish me luck.

And I already buy him really nice shorts!!! Basketball shorts, though, are kind of drafty by design it seems to me.

Not just pockets, but deep pockets. As we learned the time we "lost" his phone in a movie theater reclining seat because it was in a shallow pocket (we got his phone back, thank goodness).

I hate things without pockets. Know how many girl clothes don't have pockets? Like half of them. They LOOK like they have pockets, but they end up being those fakey pockets that aren't really pockets. I hate that.
