It can. A few years ago Amazon started cracking down on incentivized reviews, but mostly went after the seller. For the buyer I think they have been known to only block the people they suspect from being able to leave any kind of review. But if they do that, to me that would mean your account got flagged and might watch your account more closely for anything else. If you do decide to do it, watch your wording carefully. Don't put stuff like I got this for a honest review stuff that's a dead giveaway.

k yeah i happened to come across something that its small items you buy and get a reimbursement for leaving a review in general, good or bad. i figured if they wanted ONLY good reviews it was fishy. but thanks, just wanted some different opinions than mine (my main opinionator is sleeping still, lol)

 

The seller doing that is still going against Amazon's TOS. So at any point they could get reported and that means they will look at all the reviews. Also there is no 100% guarantee that they will reimburse you. Only safe one is Amazon Vine program, if you can get into it. I think it is invite only through Amazon its self.. I could be wrong lol
