UPDATE: As of 4/4/2023 5:30EST we are still awaiting PayPal resolution but close to deploying an alternative method.

Just wanted to provide an update on the PayPal situation and as of 4/4/2023 there has been no resolution to our PayPal account issue. We had gotten some vague information that it may been due to the volume of payouts that we have transacted. Unfortunately we are still in a waiting situation with them and will continue to press them for resolution.

However we are currently testing bank transfers internally and very close to being able to deploy it. Because the development was expedited, we’ll be carefully monitoring this when we release this to production. Additionally, we will release official communications and what to expect once we have this ready. Thank you again for your patience and support!

I have been taking part in a longitude study by Dartmouth College. Yesterday they posted the fourth part of the survey. I sent them a message letting them know about the Paypal issue that Connect has been dealing with. I asked them if they could post a closed qualification hit here, post the survey on their school's SONA site or send me a link to the study directly and pay me by Paypal, Amazon GC, or a Dunks/Starbucks gift card so I could continue in taking part in the study.

 

You know you can cash your Connect balance out as Amazon GC already, right?

I make way more money on Prolific than I do on Mturk. You too? Except the other day I made $62 on Prolific and they throttled me for 24 hours and I only got one $2 hit the next day.

 

I've already broke 100 for the week over there. most of the good requestors have migrated and I don't hate the option to get paid immediately, whenever I want. The pound is still at 1.25 today which is very nice.

 

I'm around the same and I agree with you that the good requestors are over there. I never check the pound exchange rate though, that's a good idea!
