Is there a way to to see how much time was allotted to the HIT and how much is left, instead of how much time has been spent?

Your screen seems to be cutting off the remaining time. In your image, it states "0:12 of ...". If you expand that, you can see your time remaining, though you would still need to make a mental calculation as it is counting up and not counting down. The wage section is for record purposes and is posted to HIT Tracker and TurkerView (if you upload a review).

I don't know of any scripts that shows a countdown, but that is a useful feature. If there is a a script, perhaps someone else will chime in.

QBC is a standalone program that uses a countdown feature in the Work Queue manager and also in the Workspace. MTS is free, while QBC is $20 a month.
