Recently I've been getting barely any work coming in on QBC. I thought it was my super slow internet, so I upgraded that but I'm still getting nothing. I see that lots of other people are getting work. My Platform watcher is set to catch anything above $8/hr yet I'm not seeing any PANDA's being created for a lot of HITs that others are getting. Does anyone have any idea if I may have some settings off or something? I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. :emoji_confused: I have a lot of keyword watchers set...could that be possibly causing any issues?

Your Turkerview watcher is only catching items that pay $10/hr and pay $10 or more for the hit. You want to change that second number to like 0.50/0.75/$1 until you feel you are getting enough work.

 

Change this to 0.50

 

Unless you've done a ton of specialized work and want to set up repeat work with the same requester, it's easier to just use TV watcher. Most of your requesters won't have a YV rating, unless you're very prolific like Calyrica or Lapetitbaker

 

Oops...I just noticed I had minimum reward set to $10.00...lol...but I changed that recently. I had it right before and I still wasn't getting work though.

 

But I have YV off right?

 

Unless you have a strategy (e.g. "I have these people who pay me $20/hr, but TV only has them at $5") you probably don't need YV on at all.

 

So you're saying I should just delete it completely? I don't really use it. It was just kind of there by default.

I would set up a TV watcher with your hourly min ($10/hr?) and choose all hits 0.50 or more who paid that.
Then I'd set up one that accepted people $15/hr or more, regardless of pay, so you get good screeners.

 

Can I have three watchers going at once or is that too much?

 

I usually have three running. It's not noticeably different for me from 2.
