Hi all!
I've been turking for real for a little over a year and half. I actually registered for mTurk back in like 2011, but only did a few HITs until late 2017. Started again in late 2017 and have been gradually ramping up as things (and $$s) started changing at my "real life" job.
Most batches fill me with anxiety and overthinking, so I'm a bit of a survey queen.
Oh, and my username comes from an over-optimistic and poorly thought out plan from 15 years ago. I was unemployed and had the "idea" to start a series of blogs with the titles "This is Your Brain on (insert topic of personal interest here)." I registered a bunch of emails, etc. and made "yourbrain" my user name in a bunch of places. A month later I had a real job, as well as the realization that I am not an interesting writer and that blogs are Too Much Work. But the username stuck. :]
