Does anyone know what I do if I ran out of time while doing Empirical Jury Duty? Is it okay to email them or will they be upset with me? I wasn't able to submit my user ID in MTURK because it said I ran out of time. But I finished the HIT and have the code for it, I also submitted the HIT on their survey site.

I'm confused what to do next.

 

They will automatically review it, then make you a compensation hit, if you entered your ID correctly, and finished/submitted in SurveyMonkey (green site). People have said it can take up to a couple days.

 

Yeah, I finished it on SurveyMonkey and sent it, but MTURK did the dreaded red cation screen before I could enter my ID there. Hopefully, it works somehow lol. Thanks for the reply too.

 

It works. We finish the survey without submitting the HIT to MTurk all of the time for various reasons.
