Is there anyway to get this guy to stop yelling HIT ACCEPTED, or YOU ARE LOGGED OUT OF MTURK. My eardrums are being blown, i've been losing hearing to this guy, i'm not joking. I asked yesterday in a daily thread but people thought I was joking and no one told me whether or not I can turn his voice off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Have you tried going to the settings tab in HIT Catcher? There are audio options. Change these to None.
Thank you very much. I did mess around with the settings, but for some reason my brain just ignored those "text to speech" as I wasn't thinking that is what was happening. I was looking for like a "voice notification" or something.
Glad it worked out. There is also a settings tab in HIT Finder, if you are using that. I know it dings and announces when it finds one of your favorites. Might want to give that a gander too.
