Somewhat of a newbie, on MTurk for 3 weeks, added MTurk, felt a little overwhelmed deleted it, now I have reinstalled it....is there a good resource for getting started with MTurk suite or is there something a little more user friendly for a newbie? I have done about 3,000 hits and I am using google chrome on an HP Chromebook 360, any tips would be greatly appreciated

 

I am reading through forums looking for tips and tricks myself. I am also using the MTurk Suite while many are using QBC now and find it well worth the subscription. It does have a free trial, I think, if you're interested in trying that.

Things I discovered over time:

1. I open Mturk Suite while on my dashboard.
2. At the bottom of panel that opens are 4 links: Finder, Catcher, Qualifeye, tracker.
A) I open Qualifeye first and make sure that I am caught up on qualifications for latest HITs.
B) I open Catcher ( which auto-accepts any hits I have PANDAed) and ensure I have alerts/alarms set.

* For PANDA I set surveys to once (O) and batches to many (M)


You may be doing all of these things plus some by now. If not, I hope I've helped in some way.

Preview and Accept. It is a tool in Mturk addons that auto-accepts HITs based on your criteria.
