Hello everyone! Just want to give you a heads-up on a Purdue scientific study that we plan to launch in the next week! In this study, you will be asked to identify nutrition components in meals, and this study consists of a series of three HITs. In the first HIT (will be launched on April 22, next Monday), we will teach you some lessons about major nutrition components to prepare you with more nutritional knowledge. The second HIT will be posted the day after the first HIT on April 23 (Tuesday), and the third HIT will be posted one week after the first HIT on April 29. In the second and third HITs, you will be asked to use the nutritional knowledge that you have learned in the first HIT to complete additional tasks on identifying nutrition components in meals. Time: The first HIT on April 22 (Monday) at 2 PM ET, the second HIT on April 23, the third HIT on April 29 Expected HIT length: about 20 minutes for the first HIT, and about 2 minutes for the second and third HITs. Qualifications Required: Number of HITs Approved greater than or equal to 500, Location is the US HIT expectations: We will submit the first HIT to Amazon’s Mechanical Turk at 2 PM ET on April 22 (Monday). We will need 700 workers to complete the first HIT. Only those workers who have completed the first HIT will be allowed to take the second and third HITs of this study. By completing the first HIT, you will receive a payment of $2 ($0.25 as advertised by the HIT which will be paid to you within 10 minutes after you submit the HIT, and the other $1.75 will be paid to you via bonus payment) The second HIT will be posted on April 23 (Tuesday). We will notify you before we post it. You will be paid $0.75 upon completing the second HIT. The third HIT will be posted on April 29 (Monday). We will notify you before we post it.
