I've looked here but can't find out what the +1 or +2 are next to the number of hits submitted are? I'm sure I am over looking it but if someone can explain I would be appreciative. Also does it affect you when you have to return a hit because it wasn't disclosed that you needed to be a certain age or sex or race?

It's the change in that number since the last time you loaded the dashboard. If you submit 1 hit and then refresh the dashboard, it'll show +1 next to the submitted and pending hits. If you submit 10, then reload the dashboard, it will show +10. If a hit goes from pending to approved you should see a -1 on pending and +1 on approved. Returns don't show up on the dashboard.
