Because most of the tests on that QualifEye link require you to go to Speechpad.
I don't have any experience with Speechpad, but it looks like they set the qual link up to go to their website(didn't know that was a possibility, but it makes some sense). So it looks like you'll have to go through their process. Looks legitimate so I wouldn't worry about it if you have verifiable transcription experience. If you're looking for transcription work Crowdsurf usually has stuff up. It's fairly underpaid for the work, but might be worth it to you. They post on Mturk sometimes, but you're way better off going through their platform where they pay bonuses and have a slightly better rate. http://crowdsurfwork.com/ I haven't done anything through them in a while, but they pay through work market and I never had any problems getting paid when I did.
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I don't have verifiable experience, but I've applied to Take Note, so hopefully they'll accept me. I'll give Crowdsurf a look. Thanks!
