I've been trying to get QBC to run on Windows 11. Is there a trick I'm missing? I feel like I've tried everything the internet says should work. Is there a solution, or do I have to wait for @ChrisTurk to update?

Have you sent him an email yet?

I don't remember having to do anything special. Were you able to get it installed? Does the installer from this link work for you? Or is the issue coming after installation and when trying to launch QBC itself? https://turkerview.com/admin/welcome-to-plus.php

No, I figured the next build would solve it since support for Windows 10 is ending soon.

    Thank You! This worked!
Previously it would "install" but wouldn't open.

Well, it worked last night. This morning it first brought me to where I enter my info and passwords. Then it said it was already running. Rebooted and it wouldn't open. Tried several times, and always get the pop-up saying it won't boot.

When you get there saying it's already running, go into your task manager and forcibly stop QBC. Right click on QBC under background processes, then click "end task." Then try opening it again.

Yeah, I do that and it still won't open. I get a pop-up "Unable to boot QBC. Please try again", it doesn't open. Others have reported similar problems.

dang, maybe try to reinstall QBC and try again. Sorry you are dealing with that. Once you have it running once, any time it asks you to upgrade, I would recommend that. The link I gave you (and what CT has posted on the site) was for 1.7.something. I am running 1.8.3 now. Not sure if any of that will help.

I have 1.8.3 running on my old Windows 7 computer. I guess I'm going to have to ask CT for an update. It will be great to work from my new computer. Thanks for all your help.

I'm just saying, CT has stated before if you run into real problems with QBC to just email him through Paypal since (last time he was on the boards) he still gets those.
