Hey everyone! We're ready to finally qualify more workers to work on our HITs. You can search "Musicbed" to find our HITs on mturk.

If you're interested, here's what I need from you:

1. Send me a direct message with your worker id and email address (you can send it via Mturk or here on TurkerView -- it's called "Start a Conversation" on TurkerView)
2. In that message, simply write 2 sentences telling me why you would like to do our HITs.

• We do require you to be a native English speaker.
• This alone is a small test. If you pass I'll add you to our list and will notify you when we start pre-qualifications.
• IF you are already approved to work on our HITs there's no need to get re-qualified (THANK YOU for all your work too!).
• More details to come --- I'll update this post.

Just to clarify... Since you are looking to qualify more workers, does that mean that those who already have the qualification and regularly work on your HITs do not need to take any additional action at this time? Thanks!

FYI, we're testing qualification HITs right now to make sure there aren't any issues before we start adding people to the qualification group. When the HITs are up and running and ready for claiming, you will be notified.

 

Yeah, sorry, after that dude spent like 6 hours creating new accounts to yell at people in DMs I got tired of it and just turned it off for new users until users hit a few posts.. I think 3 or 5, not 100% sure.

I'm pretty close to finishing on the new requester profiles & claim systems, which don't require DMs, so unlikely to revert it but I'll double check when I'm done if there's a better way to handle that particular problem.

 

Just an update - we're still trying to fix some things with our qualification HIT to make sure it runs smoothly. It might be later this week when we can start running those HITs or early next week. Regardless, I will let you know when we start so you don't miss out! Thanks for your patience!

 

Whelp I am new and just found the forums a tad too late! I will be keeping an eye out hoping I can catch this again as I am interested.
