So user permissions are now fixed, sorry about that.

There are a few terms you probably need to know to contribute to the Wiki.

Areas - These are the storage/file/folder system of the Wiki. They're used to group a bunch of pages/categories together. Right now there is Worker Basics, Requesters and HITs, and Scripts and Resources

Pages - You put individual pages inside of an Area. For instance inside of the Worker Basics Area there are a bunch of pages on PREs, CAPTCHAs, etc. Each is its own individual page.

Categories - These are used strictly for grouping things into categories. Think of them as soft-links between pages that say "hey, these are related to each other because they belong in this category even though they're unique/different." The Google Requester category is a good example. Both Zoltars and Will is marked under that category, even though you'd never put them on the same page. You almost never edit the category page itself. You should always add categories on the individual Pages using this:

Synonyms - Synonyms are the words that will be replaced across the forum and redirected to whatever page you add the synonym to. Check out Zoltar's synonyms for examples on how this works.

[h=1]Userscripts[/h]

Userscripts, usually shortened to merely scripts, are a way of running customized methods on a given website to modify its behavior during runtime.

As related to use on the Mechanical Turk platform, scripts convey a distinct advantage in achieving increased productivity and higher earnings.

[*] Q: Can user scripts run in Microsoft Edge?
[*][*]A: Yes, with Windows 10 Build 14291. However, using Microsoft Edge to do anything is a bad idea. Please consider installing a production ready stable browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Safari.
