Hi All,
I'm not entirely new to mturking as I dabbled in it several years back. Before the recent facelift of the UI. The objective I'm striving for is understanding how turking works day-to-day. So, not as much as having a supplemental income that is consistent but generally fufilling some curiosities.
Outside of mturk, I stay pretty active with running and normal hobbies like everyone else (video games, movies, etc...)
Looking forward working with you guys and gals :)

Welcome ~
A large part of doing well on the platform is making sure that you aren't wasting your time doing stuff that isn't underpaid and our turkerview platform helps with that. You might have used TO and TV is like that only it doesn't suck.
https://turkerview.com/mturk-scripts/1-TurkerViewJS
There are also other scripts that you will want for pandaing and scraping if you want to survive on here.
If you have any questions feel free to ask for help.-

I take it I can find most of the tools to start out with on the user guides forum?
EDIT: Also, does this forum have real-time notification like Slack? It'd be pretty cool to get push notifications when I'm in another tab on the browser :) -
I think that the wiki is still down since the domain change but...
Install tampermonkey https://tampermonkey.net/ if you don't already have it so that you can install various scripts.
Install the chrome or firefox extension for mturksuite https://github.com/Kadauchi/mturk-suite for various QOL stuff and the hit tracker to keep track of what you have done ect. (hit tracker is the new hitdb if you used that in the past)
While you can use hit finder in mturksuite I suggest https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/36368-hit-forker as it has buttons to start a panda in panda crazy
You could again use hit catcher but I suggest https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/19168-jr-mturk-panda-crazy as it works well with hit forker and honestly hit catcher isn't as good anyways.
The last general script I would suggest is this https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/18991-mturk-worker-dashboard-enhancer
There are loads of other stuff but that should get you started. -

Oh and you can switch to dark mode if you want to here https://forum.turkerview.com/account/preferences by changing the style. -
