yeah it was good, their stout with coffee was amazing. also their tacos, besides the tofu one.

They make probably the best domestic pilsner I've ever had, Florida Room. Also the can has a gator playing guitar on it, so I appreciate it that much more.

 

Ok... I had to share this. These selection of pre loaded pics and avatars on American Truck Simulator are terrifying.

 

Not as creepy as some of the computer generated faces I've seen in HITs.

Also I had a friend in college who would play Euro Truck Simulator all the time. He's from Shanghai and bought a trucker hat just to wear while playing the game.

 

I assume you mean a nice lager or something simple like that. I love a nice, delicious lager.

yeah my only regret was not getting a shirt or something because their labels are the best. i'm pretty spoiled with good pilsners here (chicagoland), but i don't remember what else i had there. i'm trying to search my untappd to figure it out but i guess i didn't check into anything besides the stout since i split a flight with someone else and the stout must have been my only full pour. we were just driving through on the way to pittsburgh so we didn't have a lot of time.

 

So I think it's safe to say I should never drive a semi ever... because this happened a tenth of a mile outside of the ware house lol

 

Ohio has some killer breweries if you ever get the chance. I can guide you to the right places in Cincinnati and Dayton for sure. Don't know as much about Columbus' scene.

Pittsburgh has some great breweries too, like Brew Gentleman, Hitchhiker, and the classic Penn brewery.

i have a good friend in pittsburgh that i try to visit once a year or so, so i try to go through different routes just to try new things each time, i'll be sure to let you know next time i do to get some recommendations. likewise, if you're ever in the chicagoland area i can point you in the right direction for my favorite places here.

 

oh, and @EssArrBee is the other beer geek here, he's down in texas though

 

Don't send me to Goose Island and I'll he happy, haha. Half Acre came here not too long ago, and I had a nice pale ale from them. And Revolution has been distributing here for years. Not familiar with much else from the area tbh.
