    They literally base it on "is this person gay and do they live with other gay people" and that's uhh, kinda offensive? Like if two straight people of opposite sex live together, does this mean they're a couple?

    That's why they put 'likely' on there to cover their asses. I mean my neighborhood says 19/478. They need to pull some info from grindr or something because that's not even half.

    Still better odds of getting laid that straight married people.

    As we are on the subject of Demographics... was anybody else on this forum "randomly" selected via mail to take part in an "American Community Survey" by the U.S. Census?

    I can't tell if it's real or not (because the brochure and letter are so terrible) - but threatens that my response is required "by law".

    I have met a guy named Christopher at work last week and he made me think whether "he is like CT or UNU guy ChrisH1"?

    He turns out to be a nice guy, so not CT for sure.

    That is a legitimate survey as long as it came from the US census and not someone else.

    It looks like total nonsense from the mail (physical mail) we received.

    The brochures could have been put together by a 5 year old. Which made us initially think it was a scam.

    But then we read the letter which threatened "the law" if we didn't respond. So... just wondering if anybody else has had this mailed to them.
