hey.. so I haven't been on mturk in like two years, pretty much. today I tried to get into it and besides MTS being radically different than when I last used it, I'm curious about how to prevent yourself from taking the same hit twice. you could use "hit tracker" which is part of "mturk suite". iirc they didn't exist back then. it's like the old hit db.
