Anyone that can help me figure out why my HIT Forker is completely gray?

 

QBC's scraper works on its own and is similar to HIT Finder in that it continuously scrapes HITs on its own. I personally don't touch it unless I am looking for something, or if I am bored.

 

Initial guess is you are missing your TV API key.

 

No, it's there and I've also deleted it and re-entered it.

Back to normal now.

 

Still gray for me. A couple HITs came through earlier that were red and yellow, but it switched right back.

 

So, I should not be watching it and trying to nab my own panda's from it? How do the "silent pandas" get there. Maybe this is why I don't catch much? Maybe my running pandas of my own has screwed up stuff. I wish I could just set it all back to factory settings, then again maybe I don't.

 

From the scolding I got from CT, you don't want to run any manual pandas. Manual panda's should be used sparingly for a one off HIT. QBC will scrape from the scraper everything you need as long as it falls within your watcher parameters and panda it for you. From what I gather from other conversations, it wouldn't hurt to clean up your pandas every so often.
