    There have been numerous studies on the # of active turkers (including from CR) and it's no where near 115k if you're thinking day-to-day # of folks hanging out doing tasks. A lot of those people on their lists are dead accounts (both ways) for most purposes when you're thinking of "active" workers. Only something like 50k do at least 1 study/mo and the distribution there is pretty horrendous (like 20% do 60% of tasks? honestly really lopsided no matter the study which do vary on end guesstimates)

    A majority of active workers actually use MTS/etc day-to-day, but the increased effectiveness of tooling makes them also increasingly unlikely to actually engage on the social outlets (here, mtc, et al). Which has been the case since day 1 in a sad "creating better tools kills MA FRIENDS" spiral (well plus the various social dramas that take folks in/out) :emoji_sweat_smile:

    That blog post is a bit annoying though.. sunsetting CR#2 just makes it less transparent for "blocked" workers. If you don't have CR1 (good) you effectively have CR2 (bad) by default, now they're just hiding it better.
