07/30 - MTurk Transfers Solution Wednesday

Now we're getting somewhere. This should be solved ASAP.

 

When sellers and other amazon sections have had their withdrawals failed to initiate, It seems that whenever they fixed it, they just process the payment that was hung up backdated to the original date, and pretend nothing was wrong as they are still within the 3-5 Business days that it says on the disclaimer. And in all Honesty this would be an acceptable solution for me

 

Hopefully we get an update soon, I need coffee, but together with this anxiety, I would rather stay sleepy longer.

 

You would think a company like Amazon would realize the importance of Human Intelligence Tasks.
Running a company worth $2.5 Trillion on AI and robots is a bad idea. As soon as something requires a real person, it all falls down.

 

I wonder if they are going to transfer all of the current balance or will they transfer the amount that was available the day it was supposed to transfer?

 

They usually pay what was available the original transfer date.

 

That is what I am expecting, but I was just curious.

 

Isn't this the first time this ever happened?

 

My bet is only part of the balance that was paid by Monday end of day will get transferred. I'm sure their system is sophisticated enough to split it by date like that.

On a mass scale yes, but I have had it happen several times over the years for various reasons.

 

Lets see first how long it takes for a fix to be rolled out.

 

Has anyone here spoken to an actual person at Amazon about this payments issue?

 

I think you guys are confusing it with the times when it initiated the transfer one day, but actually completed it a day or a few days later. But not even initiating anything at all? Don't remember ever seeing anything like this. But I dunno, maybe I just didn't see those posts.
