Maybe I am crazy but I despise these projects that everyone else raves about. It makes me feel alien that people are excited for it. It is mindnumbing brainrot with constant reoccuring errors. Things like which one of these is a better image edit and its picking between two audio files but then the audio files for the next set are autoplaying at the same time and other assorted nonsense. 10s of different type of tasks all with the same name so its russian roulette on what you get.

You’re not crazy at all. A lot of those popular projects are only good on paper in practice they’re buggy, repetitive, and mentally draining. I’ve bailed on plenty of highly rated HITs for the same reasons; consistency and low friction matter way more than hype.
