10/01 - Hello, It's October Thursday

to the one intern who's lurking and actually fixed something on the site, albeit after it closed early, we see you. you will be missed as id like to believe there was one person there genuinely trying to do their job this whole time.

it would be a fitting mturk april fools joke to pretend to close mturk on sept 30th

@ChrisTurk i would love an invite to the new thing as well. i forgot to say this yesterday lol

@ChrisTurk

Yes, he told me the same thing. But I haven't heard a word from him in over a week. He even asked if I knew of any platforms, but I said no. I actually created a platform for him with a friend's help—well, a rough draft, really. I haven't given up hope yet, but bills don't wait, so we need to look for something else.It would be a blessing to receive a message from him saying he managed to find it and inviting us to work with him again.

@ChrisTurk would like a worker invite if you get things up and rolling.

As I didn't stop by yesterday, figured I would give er the ol o7 send off. Mturk got me through some crazy years and my earnings really picked up after I joined the OG MturkForum then MturkGrind back in the day. Had some fun days bsing around with the crowds that hung around there. Thankful to have been part of the first generation of online workers

Amazon manager to intern- "Hey did u remember to shut down Nturk or watever that thing is?

Well, I've been trying to write this f- uh, article for my own creative writing reasons. I've been primarily doing Prolific and CreditConnect these days, anyway.

why does it look like he put the lit end in his mouth?

Man... I just remembered that the name of the very first requestor whose HITs I did was Jimmy Dragon. Transcribing business cards. I remember doing those while wondering how the hell people on the MTurk forums were able to manage making $100-200/day/

@ChrisTurk I would also like an invite as a worker if possible. Thanks.

Just a playground build for now but you can follow along here: https://forum.turkerview.com/posts/2213905/
