    Sometimes super budget phones don't have an IEM/earbud headset but anything over $500 MSRP and it basically cost nothing for them to add value of sorts to the package. It is the same reason that they include a phone charger (well in the USA at least) even though a lot of people have loads of them.

    If I remember correctly I don't believe that my moto G came with anything for example and that is a cheap phone.
