I couldn't imagine. My younger cat, when I got her I lived in Joplin, MO. She was a kitten and I got her from the neighbor. 6 months after we moved away from there (to the day, actually) there was a huge tornado. Destroyed like half the city. The house I lived in is still standing, but the one I got the kitty from is not. We drive by there every time we go there and I always tear up a little thinking what would have happened if I hadn't taken her.
