Wait wait, I use an HRM not a fitbit. I only manually add my mileage to the fitbit APP for trackng it through that. I don't actually need to, because the health apps I'm synced with already know I'm biking without my telling it.

Yeah, that's actually the reason I got the one I did. At the time, it was the slimmest one that tracked workouts and biking and elliptical accurately. I love that it captures stuff even when I forget to turn it on for the specific activity. Which I may have done a time or twenty.

Fitbit app just doesn't sync with my other shit very well on its own. My apple health/gps app picks up my activities on its own. I just manually add to fitbit when it doesn't pick up all my info from apple health. I like my heart rate monitor and have no intention to wear a fitbit all the time. no thank you

I don't like fitbit trackers personally. I have child sized wrists and I vastly prefer my chest strap hrm that syncs with my phone is all. I just use the fitbit app as a socialization thing. Even when I forget it, my apple health knows when I'm cycling automatically (and I leave the strap for my monitor in my skates so I don't forget it then lol). That's just a personal preference thing though.
