Yeah there is. Its 17 for our forum. Its 13 by default because of COPPA, but I upped it. I considered doing 18, but settled on 17 because I don't see any reason a mature 17 year old can't join and learn about the platform before being able to work on it. Good on them for being proactive/driven and tbh mTurk is probably one of the better platforms for that niche category of person since they're only really eligible for minimum wage anyway, even if it is difficult for them to get an account.

This is where balance comes into play. Images/media that are easily view-able are required to be spoilered here, but text is where the line is drawn. If you leave a child unattended long enough to view this forum and they find the one in 10 posts with mature text then that's on you. What if they went elsewhere on the Internet in that time frame? Or clicked on any of the mature HITs in mTurk itself because you left mTurk up instead of this forum?



In any case, I'm heading out for lunch/errands. Y'all be good to each other. Friendly reminder that we're a yuge community compared to the shithole we came from now, and probably have the smallest active staff of any of the Turk related forums regardless of size. Which means the minuscule rate of crap speaks volumes to how awesome everyone here is. I wouldn't ban (most) of you if I could.. and I can.. so FEAR ME.

i dont want to think about anyone's damn children. hell with all the thinking about children and immigrants and women and trans genders and black people and their lives which matter more than mine and pro lifers and pro choicers and boozers and stoners and fat people and every damn group of people i don't have any time to think about myself

not to be too politically insensitive but when it comes to thinking about kids i just want to find their parents to tell them to get them off my damn lawn before i introduce them to my own kids, which are dogs and way way better than the human variety!!!

This past summer I had 3 kids under age 2 walk in while I was sitting here, 5 various dogs, 6 cats, a squirrel and his girlfriend (daily beggars ... err ... visitors), 6 baby possums, a YUGE rat, numerous spiders of various types, and one EXTREMELY YUGE Boa (YEP I said SNAKE) YiPeS!!!
