I say wood. The stuff in our bedrooms is laminate as well. Every other floor in the house is ceramic tile and it doesn't make nearly as much noise when she walks on that. It used to really irritate me but now not so much because i can immediately identify it and tells me where she is lol.

I live on the internet and block people all the time. I think it's a good approach when someone is bothering me but not doing something that is universally thought of us unacceptable. I quietly put them on ignore until I'm in a less crabby mood. Or in cases where their communication style isn't my thing, I'll leave them on.
