    Exactly. Personally, I feel like every belief/opinion/whatever is no different than either personal preference or something inherent. I might prefer whatever food, someone might hate it, which is no different than preferring whatever lifestyle instead of whichever lifestyle. I have brown hair, someone else might have blonde hair, which is no different than you believing xyz and me believing abc. Whatever brings you peace in life is what brings you peace, it's not my job to tell you it doesn't do the same for me, just like my tastebuds are different than morweeg's broken tastebuds. And just like personal preference can change, people can also have their beliefs challenged and grow as a person. It's fun. People are unique and that's what makes life awesome. Just don't be rude to me and I won't be rude to you, and we can appreciate each other as human beings, it's really that easy.

    Bingo. You hit the nail on the head with the "when". My father died in 1989 of AIDS, yes he was gay. My father in law committed suicide in 92. I could not believe the things that I noticed and picked up on after that, that I never had before. People say anything, to anyone, even total strangers who don't know anything about you. And the well meaning people who say some messed up stuff sometimes. I am extremely political in my private life. I work on policy with lawmakers and am very active. If I were to spew my rhetoric, I would never stop.

    I live in Louisiana and there is this brand of...sauce I guess... here that is a cross between ranch/BBQ and hot sauce mixed. I forgot the name since I haven't seen in on shelves in a while. It....was the equivalent of a tastebud trainwreck. It tasted so off and odd but I couldn't stop eating it. When I go shopping again I'll have to see if I can find it and get the name/website.
