Did you remove any old drives or did you just install a new one? If you only added a new one while keeping the old ones...

I have no idea outside of a faulty drive somehow.

Perhaps the sata power daisy chain doesn't have enough power by the time that it reaches your boot drive?

 

Left the SSD as is, unplugged a CD drive for the HDD (WD Blue 2TB)

Just immediate death. Unplugged the HDD, still death. Replugged the CD drive, still death.

Weirdest shit is it boot loops itself 2-3 times then gives me advanced options, one of which is 'disable driver signatures' which sure enough lets me boot in just fine but apparently will be perma-death again next reboot -,-

My PC likes to boot to my old HDD even though I reinstalled my OS on my SSD and still makes me change every time. I'm too lazy to google how to fix that. Might be what's happening to yours, though.

The HDD might have somehow shorted some other stuff?

 

@ChrisTurk maybe try the solution from this??? I don't know though. You should probably throw it all away and start over.

 

I contacted Empirical Jury about the exclusion qual. I actually got a response! The qual was assigned... "Just to minimize participant frequency"

I asked if those of us who have it would be able to work on them in the future and the response was, "It expires. We keep a rotating window of the last 5-6 studies in the block list depending on the size of the studies."

I also mentioned I would be sharing responses in the forums.

So yay, it's not due to poor work! And it will expire and those of us who have it will be able to work on them again, and if you get it don't worry, it will expire at some point and you'll be able to do them again.
