I'm totally ready to spend the next 12 hours freaking out about basketball while gorging myself on the poverty foods of my people.

Yeah! That was before my time, but the 3 groups of people who had season tickets around us were there since the beginning in '94 and educated me on the history. I had season tickets from 2003-2004 through 2010-2011, but went to a bunch of games in 2002-2003 too. I miss it so much. I honestly haven't even been back to a game since, just because it'd make me so sad to go and not have my usual seat-mates around me. I still catch them on TV though. I think they're with the Blues now?

They were a good team for most of the years I had tickets, even though Atlanta was..... Atlanta. And they were just such a good organization in general, but they changed hands so I'm not sure if they still are. They had so many events and free shit and they were just such a generous organization to the fans. After games, the fans could wait out by the locker room exit and the players would stop to chat if they wanted to. I got to be buddies with Lehtonen mostly. I still have sticks from him, Hurme, and Nurminen (...I like my Finns).

Also, in the middle of this post, this happened:

and the seats they gave me are the section above where my Wolves tickets were. :emoji_sob:

After it gets stuck not submitting, I go back into the queue and go back into the hit, it would automatically submit itself then. Did it last time. Hopefully that works for you!

Whenever I have had a chance, I have either been busy, or broke. This time I was determined to make it happen.

Just need to see System of a Down now, and my "I was too broke to afford this concert in high school/College" list will be complete.

I agree with that sentiment. I've always wanted to see Rammstein live and I got to see them last year. I was broke as hell but I managed to make it through.

I know I'm a dweeb of the forum, because I was real excited to see Hall and Oates in concert like the peppy little dork I am.

That's amazing, there is nothing quite like following a team farther down the professional chain, in any sport really, but I always feel like hockey players are cut from a different cloth. I'd imagine you'd have a hard time seeing a difference in behavior whether they were top picks like Lehtonen or pluggers like Jason Krog.

I used to go to every Bramalea Blues Jr. A game for a few years when my friend had an older brother on the team. It's cool to see how special a 16 year old Mike Cammalleri already was, and it's fun to root for them as they move up the chain to the NHL.

Congrats on the Tool tickets! Have you ever been to one of their shows?
