Honestly I cannot tab my way through survey bubbles. Never have been able to. Demographics & stuff I'll whiz through but I reduce clicks as much as possible to make up for it.. nowadays it still leaves me somewhere in the average range even w/ tech advantages

Sure. Also not everyone can be speedy gonzalez, even I could never get close to top speeds w/o a lot more effort than I'd be willing to put in for a survey. But there is nothing about MTurk surveys that a lot of repetition/pattern recognition can't make up for to bring up the average to a respectable rate for most stuff, if you're doing it anyway might as well try to do it well. Heck of a lot simpler than learning JS, though less tangible/real world benefits.
